FEATURES: Floating Step Jaws allow clamping multiple rectangular workpieces in a standard machine vise. Use one or more Floating Step Jaws in between two standard Step Jaws. These versatile jaws raise short workpieces for easier access, and also provide tool clearance between the workpiece and the vise bed. Removable clamping bar has a stop pin for side location (stop pin can be repositioned in any hole). All workpieces are clamped with the same force.

MOUNTING: Floating Step Jaws have claws underneath to allow sliding onto the vise bed. To install, first remove the vise's sliding-jaw assembly. Next, slide Floating Step Jaws onto the bed. Finally, reinstall the sliding-jaw assembly.
MATERIAL: Floating Jaw > Aluminum, hard anodized. Clamping Bar > Steel, hardened and ground.
