100 g, -mr value of ≤0.15, recommended for all standard immunoelectrophoresi s applications  Bio-Rad offers a selection of agaroses suitable for IEP, IEF, and other specialty applications. Standard low –mr agarose — With its high strength, clarity, and low –mr value, this agarose is recommended for all standard immunoelectrophoresi s applications. The powder may be used alone or blended with other grades of agarose for special properties. High –mr agarose — The –mr value of ≥0.25 makes this gel suitable for counterimmunoelectro phoresis and to blend with standard low –mr agarose to increase its –mr for special applications. Zero –mr agarose — This agarose is specifically for isoelectric focusing. It has no detectable electroendosmosis, and is recommended for isoelectric focusing of very high molecular weight proteins or complexes that are subject to varying degrees of molecular sieving in polyacrylamide gels. Agarose IEF and post-run processing can be completed more quickly than polyacrylamide gel IEF.
