The motor modules with the product designation AT2002 largely correspond to the motor modules with the product designation AT2000. In addition, they have a connector for the supply of power and communication, to which connection cables in variable lengths can be connected. Unlike permanently connected cables, these are drag-chain suitable; longer cable lengths are possible. With a length of 250 mm, the motor modules with power supply are the shortest version of a supply segment. A shortened motor module with a length of 249 mm is available for the construction of moving track sections. By attaching motor modules without a supply, straight or curved track layouts, the supply segment can be extended up to 3 m. A complete XTS system consists of at least one supply segment; however, several supply segments of different lengths can also be used in an XTS system. The length of a supply segment is primarily determined by the mechanical motion profile of the movers and thus the electrical power consumption as well as the number of movers on the respective route.
As the XTS can be used with two variants of guide rail systems, each motor module is available in two versions. One version allows the guide rails to be mounted directly on the motor module. The variants with designations ending in -0002 are used for rail systems which are mounted parallel to the motor module. These variants therefore have no fixing holes on the top.
