Spirec Micro Drills are high speed tools for drilling in the smallest diameter range. Sphinx offers these drills in both High Speed Steel (0.05mm-3.175mm) and Solid Carbide (0.05mm-2.0mm in increments of 0.01mm). The application field reaches from steel to cast materials to nonferrous alloys. The cylindrical shank diameter allows the Spirec Micro Drill to be used in high speed spindles on modern machines. Sphinx's Spirec Micro Drill geometry includes four facet point grinding of the highest quality. Together, paired with fine-grained, high transverse rupture strength carbide, a long tool life and constant process reliability is achieved.
