The Standard Straight-Through Cable Gland from Altech Corp. is designed for effective sealing of cable entries, ensuring protection against contaminants and providing strain relief. Constructed from polyamide 6 with a neoprene seal, it achieves an IP68 rating without the need for seal rings in PG and metric sizes. The product features a trapezoidal thread that allows for high torque, ensuring a secure and permanent fit of the dome nut. It is suitable for a temperature range of -40 to 100¬8C (-40 to 212¬8F) and is gas tight and watertight, making it ideal for use in various machines and devices. The cable gland is available in multiple thread sizes, accommodating a wide range of clamping ranges.
