The MAPS® III Series packaged rooftop units are designed to cool, dehumidify, and heat high volumes of outside air year round for makeup air and ventilation applications. In addition, MAPS III can provide significant capacities of space conditioning. Model RDDB units are designed to provide an average cooling supply air temperature of 50° to 55°F off the main coil in humid to temperate climates. The RDDB utilizes environmentally-frie
ndly R-410A refrigerant in all circuits for higher efficiency, and to be covered under changing regulations. Model RDDB units also include Reznor Re-Heat Pump™ dedicated reheat cycle. Re-heating of the air by this method saves over 4 to 5 times the energy used by electric heating elements. Additionally, the system is capable of maintaining reheat even when the demand for cooling and dehumidification is minimal. More importantly, this method of reheat complies with ASHRAE Standard 90.1.They have multiple stages of cooling for exceptional part-load performance and either staged heat or advanced high efficiency 8:1 electronic modulation. They have the most technologically advanced controls and flexibility for application in BMS networks as well as stand alone configurations. The plenum fans can handle high static pressures.
