SITRANS P MPS submersible sensors for level sensors. Hydrostatic pressure sensors are placed on, or close to the bottom of the tank and the pressure on the level sensor by the water column is used to calculate the fluid level by a piezo-resistive bridge inside the sensor. Signal from the bridge is then converted a electrical output of 4 to 20mA. Example applications include shipbuilding, oil, gas, water supply and pressure-less or open tanks, wells, channels and dams. Easy to install. IP68. 0.3% measurement error. Temperature compensating.
