1 Step Video Surveillance -
This junction box is non functioning. It cannot be used for any electric connections or junctions. It is a Carlon PVC 1/2 inch 2 gang junction box that you will find in many electrical systems and stores. The camera and entire DVR are built right into the box. The SD card inserts into the top of the box which means the cable will be on the left. When the SD card is inserted for operation it will be flush with the box so it will not be seen. A power source is required. We include the necessary 12 volt power supply that connects to the end of the 25 ft power video cable. The 25 ft. power video cable is thin enough to feed through 1/2 PVC conduit. You must connect the video jack on the cable to a TV to view the programming menu of the DVR. You will also be able to view live by connecting the video jack on the cable to a TV.
Unit will automatically begin to record after SD card is inserted and power is connected. Recording can be started or stopped via the included IR remote control. Efficient motion activated recording. Playback recorded footage directly to a TV with included cable or remove SD card and playback footage on your computer using the included USB card reader. No computer is really necessary for the usage of this product. One will, however, enhance the usage.
3 Different Ways to Record
Motion Detection: Built-in motion detection recording means that it can easily be set to only record when there is motion or activity taking place.
Continuously: You may also set it to record continuously if desired.
Schedule Record: The third method of recording is scheduled record. The menu will also allow you to select which hours of the day you want to record whether it be continuous, motion activated or not at all.
In addition you may also select the overwrite feature which will overwrite the oldest footage when SD card is full. All recordings are timedate stamped and stored to hidden SD card. Unit will accept up to a 32Gb SD card.
Video Playback on TV or Computer
Junction box can connect to TV for playback or to a computer. Recordings can easily be transferred to a computer where they can be emailed, uploaded to a website, uploaded to YouTube, or archived on your computer. All hardware and software needed for TV and computer viewing is included.
