The unit may be set in any of three modes: Counter Mode, Tachometer Mode, Time Meter Mode. Counter mode: can be programmed for quadrature, differential, count/direction. Tachometer mode: incoming pulses are counter per gate time, which can be pre-selected. Over speed or under speed can also be indicated.
