ultraView Universal DAB is a multimer-technology based detection system intended for the specific and sensitive detection of mouse and rabbit primary antibodies. The kit is biotin-free, thus it eliminates non-specific staining resulting from endogenous biotin. ultraView Universal DAB consists of a robust chemistry that provides a clean background for the sensitive and specific visualization of the targeted antigen and is especially useful for the detection of antigens present in low concentrations. The primary antibody–HRP labeled antibody complex is visualized using DAB resulting in a brown/black target signal. This detection system is optimized for use on the NexES IHC and BenchMark Series automated slide stainers.
