As applications suitable for the customer’s needs are combined, automation of various assembly processes and improvement of manufacture methods can be achieved. Two Camera Views The YSC1 comes equipped with a CCD camera attached to the mounting head providing full position recognition of the work piece from above. In addition, a stationary scan camera provides target component recognition from below. MACS Achieves Absolute Accuracy Using Yamaha’s MACS, the concept of positioning is changed from repeatability to absolute accuracy. MACS : Multiple Accuracy Compensation System Axial movement repeatability within 5μm Built-in XY axis assembling and material compensation Thermal expansion compensation User-oriented precision compensation tools prepared Various Parts Feeding The range of movement is L400 x W758mm. Yamaha and user prepared devices (a variety of feeders and conveyors) can be easily attached and configured. Automatic tray supply unit Supports component height of 45mm (at 50mm tray pitch) Capable of handling up to 15 trays (at 12.5mm tray pitch) Various tape feeders Tape size (mm) 8・12・16・24・32・48・56・ 72・etc. Support for Functions Image processing library A dedicated library is capable of easily storing 1000 types of component image data. Customized nozzles Many types of customized nozzles, which support large and/or odd-shaped components are fully supported. Automatic nozzle station Capable of handling multiple work pieces.
