Leopold® IMS® (Integral Media Support) cap is the porous plate developed by Leopold as a replacement for support gravel in filter beds equipped with Leopold underdrain. It comes factory-installed on top of the underdrain block. By eliminating the support gravel, the overall depth of the filter can be reduced which could also allow for deeper media in existing filters. In addition, Leopold® IMS® cap allows for easy removal and change of media such as activated carbon.
