The be quiet! Straight Power convinces through its excellent quality and its perfected technology.
That power supplies of the Straight Power series have been given an energy-saving design, offering a high efficiency of up to 83%. Furthermore, the components of the Straight Power conform with the new RoHS and WEEE Directives.
The cooling is done with a 120 mm Silent-Fan, which is controlled by way of an integrated thermoelectronic device. By way of the thermoelectronics, up to 3 additional housing ventilators can be connected and controlled.
The be quiet! Straight Power has been manufactured in accordance with the ATX 12V 2.2 standard and it uses 4 separate 12V cables for an optimal power supply and stable operations.
The new Straight Power is also provided with a broad range of connection possibilities for all PC components. It has eight SATA connectors, six 4-pin HDD connectors and one FDD connection.
Two 6-pin PCI-Express connectors are provided for operating SLI and Crossfire systems.
A flexible 20/24-pin connector, which also supports older 20-pin mainboards, is used for the connection to the mainboard. In addition, two 12V plugs are provided for connecting additional power supplies to the mainboard. The two P4 connectors can be combined into a single P8 plug, making it possible to operate Dual Server mainboards (E-ATX). Specifications:
