They are available in various micron ratings, including 0.35, 1, 5, 20, and 50 microns, allowing for tailored filtration solutions based on specific application needs. These cartridges feature a lower initial pressure drop compared to traditional depth cartridges, enabling higher flow rates and potentially reducing the size of filter housings, which can lead to lower capital costs. The cartridges are also washable and reusable for ratings of 5 microns and above, further decreasing replacement costs. The construction includes durable end caps and center tubes, with a maximum operating temperature of 140¬8F and a maximum pressure of 40 PSID. Overall, these cartridges provide efficient filtration with reduced operational costs, making them a viable option for various engineering applications.
Pleated filter cartridges outperform wound, spun, melt blown, resin bonded, and other "depth" type filter elements because of our high surface area.
