The Watts Series 97FB-CIB Cast Iron Simplex Basket Strainer is designed for use in liquid and steam applications, available in sizes ranging from 2" to 12" (50-300mm). It features a Class 125 cast iron body with flanged connections, an angle-designed basket, and a stainless steel screen. The strainer includes a bolted screen retainer cover and a graphite gasket, with a blowdown plug for maintenance. Models sized 8" (200mm) and larger are equipped with a side drain facing the outlet. The maximum working pressure is 200 psi (13.8 bar) at 150¬8F (66¬8C) for water and 125 psi (8.6 bar) at 353¬8F (178¬8C) for steam. The product complies with ANSI B16.1 standards for flange dimensions and drilling. The wetted surface contains less than 0.25% lead by weight, making it suitable for applications requiring lead-free components.
