Silicone Rubber Sponge ELASTOSIL® C2936 A NAT is a medium-density silicone rubber sponge compound. It is specifically designed for extrusion and curing in a hot air vulcanizer. When properly catalyzed and cured it produces a sponge that has a smooth surface and highly resilient, uniform, closed-cell structure. Application Sponge parts produced from ELASTOSIL® C2936 A NAT are used in applications that require toughness, good thermal stability, and low compression set. Extruded gaskets, sponge tubing, and sheets used in thermal barriers are a few examples of the finished products that can be fabricated from this versatile product.
