Volktek - INS-8615 is a high-performance 5-port 10/100/1000 RJ45 downlink and 1-port multi-rate FX/GbE SFP uplink managed industrial switch designed for communication between controllers and devices in automation settings. The SFP port offers long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions that adapt to Fast and Gigabit Ethernet speeds. It is used with multi-axis robots and their peripherals such as PLCs, HMIs, and legacy devices. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports and Modbus TCP to aggregate devices easily in industrial Ethernet applications.
The switch optimizes traffic with Storm, and Flow Control, and QoS - it prioritizes industrial data packets, prevents the loss of data during communication, and offers a stable transmission. It has a topology map to visualize the network and complies with cybersecurity standards to safeguard the network from vulnerabilities.
This switch is built with industrial-grade components and enclosed in an IP40 aluminum case with high thermal conductivity, which protects the device from tools and hazards.
