Volktek - INS-8405M is a 5-port, 10/100/1000 RJ45 downlink unmanaged industrial switch for very elementary communication between controllers and devices in automation settings. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports to aggregate devices easily in industrial ethernet applications. The switch offers various in-built traffic optimization and network performance features to prioritize PROFINET industrial protocol communication, and QoS Tagged data 802.1p/Tag QoS prevent the loss of data during communication, and stable transmission.
This switch is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in IP30 aluminum, to protect the device from tools and hazards. This device is certified DNV approved for safe use in marine applications. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, interference, and temperatures ranging from -40°C~75°C (-40°F~167°F) it suits extreme industrial environments.
