The YZ810-103 wall panel accepts a microphone input using a standard XLR connector. The unit receives power from the Showtime switcher and also provides 2 LED indicators on the front of the unit; one indicates the unit is active and the other warns the user that the output audio to the speakers is muted. Depending on the type of microphone used, the panel can be set to supply phantom power at the time of installation. The mix level between the microphone and the output audio from the input computer or composite source is set inside the switcher, however, a gain adjustment potentiometer is provided on the front of the wall panel to compensate for different types of microphones. This potentiometer is set at the time of installation, but can be adjusted if a different microphone is used at a later time.
