Electro-Voice
The XLCDVX uses a DVX3121, two DVN2065 neodymium mid-range transducers, and two ND6 high-frequency transducers. The DVX3121 is a high-performance, low-frequency transducer with forced air, directional voice-coil cooling for high power and efficiency. The suspension and magnetic circuit are optimized for long, linear travel to provide low distortion and greater low-frequency extension in a lightweight transducer. The DVN2065 transducer uses neodymium to provide very high output with lightweight and lower distortion. The cabinet's three-way design comprises a 12-inch, vented, low-frequency, two-inch x 6.5-inch MB transducers on a 90 degree horizontal waveguide, and two-inch x three-inch high-frequency transducers combining through Hydras on a 90 degree x 7 degree waveguide. The XlC907DVX is designed to be used in triamp mode. Biamped, three-way operation is possible using the optional, sophisticated, 24 dB/octave, passive, mid-frequency to high-frequency network. Its asymmetrical box design has been optimized to produce a symmetrical polar pattern with uniform power response. Designed for use in groups of four or more, the XLC907DVX delivers reliability and control. The XLC907DVX can be used in long, narrow venues in arrays of four or more, or in groups of two or more in combination with the XLC127DVX 120 degree version for long-throw on top of arrays.
