The Wireless Conference Access Point is the heart of the Wireless Confidea® system. It is the central control unit and wireless transceiver that links all the Confidea wireless chairman/delegate units together, and can operate on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency ranges. The access point provides three (3) antennas, two (2) transceiver antennas for diversity connection to the control surfaces and a single antenna to scan the band and identify potential interference sources. The access point automatically selects and adjusts the operational frequency for the least interference of competing RF signals. The effective range of use for wireless conference units with a single WCAP+ is 100 ft. (30 m).
Operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz frequency bands providing more channels and a reliable wireless link any time.
