The active, DSP controlled and networkable VNET15 BP is a compact, versatile and extremely efficient bandpass subwoofer system, designed to extend the low frequency response of Tannoy VNET™ Series loudspeakers and increase system headroom and providing output levels normally associated with considerably larger enclosures. The Tannoy VNET15 BP consists of one high efficiency 380mm (15.00") with a 76mm (3.00") voice coil drive unit mounted in a compact and sturdy, black or white painted cabinet constructed from 15mm (5/8") multi-ply birch hardwood; robust enough to survive the punishment that speakers systems are subjected to on the road and in club installations.VNET™ supports free network topology so cabinets can be arranged in a daisy chain, linked in a star configuration or in any combination of both. Implementation of the network could not be simpler, with connections between nodes via high quality rugged Neutrik Ethercon connectors, which are compatible with standard RJ45 plugs, and CAT5 cable. Each VNET™ module contains a unique address so that no user input will be required to configure network nodes.
