Visual Sound, Inc. Digital Hybrid Wireless™ Diversity Receiver US Patent 7,225,135 R400A

Description
Lectrosonics, Inc. High performance, 256 frequency Digital Hybrid UHF receiver fully compatible with all Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid transmitters in addition to many analog transmitters. Portable, high performance, triple-conversion, frequency synthesized, UHF receiver fully compatible with all Lectrosonics 400 Digital Hybrid Wireless™ and Series 200 and 100 Analog transmitters (plus some transmitters from other manufacturers). The RF performance is extremely stable over a very wide temperature range, making the perfectly suited to the rough environmental conditions found in the field. The proprietary audio processing includes a digital signal processor for very low distortion and a superior signal to noise ratio. The R400A features a powerful menu-driven LCD graphic display, a push-button POWER/PREV control and a dual function (push/rotate) MENU knob as a convenient means of viewing and altering user settings. The main window displays the pilot tone indicator, antenna diversity phase, RF level, audio level, operating frequency, TV channel, transmitter frequency switch settings and transmitter battery status. Settings can be changed using the MENU functions. A Frequency Scan Mode displays a spectrum analyzer for observing all signals "on the air" within the frequency range of the receiver in order to find interference-free operating frequencies. Offers both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (1/4 inch jack) audio outputs. Unbalanced audio output can be used to monitor system operation. Digital Hybrid Technology SmartSquelch™; SmartNR™ noise reduction; SmartDiversity™ 256 selectable UHF frequencies; RF-controlled digital noise filters; Low Noise, High Gain RF Front End; DSP-based pilot tone Graphics type backlit LCD display; Balanced XLR audio output Compatibility modes for use with analog transmitters
