The MT107-500 will be available by summer, 2007. The MT107-500 is a 64x64, AV-over-Twisted-Pair Matrix Switcher and the most compact of its kind in the AV industry. Up to eight input and eight output expansion cards with eight, 4-TP connectors each can be connected to the engine taking up only one 4U-high MultiTasker enclosure. The expansion cards are connected to the engine via a special, high-bandwidth back plane in order to maintain signal integrity. Control is through the MultiTasker enclosure via the RS-232 bus or by USB connection. A fully configured 64x64 engine contributes to considerable savings due to the easy snap-in mechanism of RJ-45 connectors. The MT107-500 may also be easily configured to meet customer specifications.
