The Mercury F3 is a compact, easy to drive floor standing loudspeaker that can be driven exceptionally easily by quality, entry level A/V receivers and hi-fi amplifiers. Greater output level and bass extension are assured, while its exemplary acoustic qualities also make it equally at home as part of either a budget or a high-end hi-fi. Deep, tuneful bass and crisp treble detail deliver great dynamics while high power handling is assured due to the 165mm (6.50")bass driver's substantial magnet assembly. The Mercury F3 is an impactful performer in a medium sized home cinema system when used as the front soundstage in conjunction with the Mercury FC centre channel. When partnered with the F2 as the surround speakers, full acoustic synergy across the whole 5.1 system is assured. The F3 also performs exceptionally well as a punchy, yet refined, two channel floor stand stereo system.
