The LCD2490WUXi is a new addition to the 90 series professional line of displays from NEC Display Solutions. Backed by a full 4-year warranty, this new 2.3 megapixel, 24-inch wide screen (16:10 aspect ratio), features an H-IPS (Horizontal in Plane Switching) module for superior color representation encompassing 69% of the Adobe RGB color triangle while minimizing off-angle color shift. As with all 90 series products, this new display includes a detachable stand that is height adjustable with pivot, swivel and tilt. This flexibility allows for maximum integration in all medical rooms to display all types and orientations of medical images.
Featuring NEC's NEW exclusive X-Light Pro backlight/sensor design, both brightness and color settings can be held constant over the useful life of the display which is critically important for most sensitive image review environments.
ColorComp technology compensates for slight variations in the white uniformity level, improves the color, and evens out the luminance uniformity of the display.
The display also features a lightning-fast 6.5-millisecond response time (grey to grey), an 800:1 contrast ratio, a 1920x1200 native resolution, and a 400cd/m2 maximum brightness setting.
This monitor supports an internal programmable 12-bit lookup table (LUT) providing for calibration as well as more points of shading between white and black and overall improved representation of gamma curves.
