In addition to multiroom audio, Excite speakers provide an appropriate and affordable choice for multimedia presentation and home theater applications. The EXCITE IC8 model provides a pair of 2-way in-ceiling loudspeakers featuring 8 inch woofers and 25 mm dome tweeters. Power handling is an impressive 100 Watts (program), with a wide frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB). Rigidly constructed, Excite speakers are designed to enable a nearly flush installation when mounted in a typical drywall surface. A professional installation is easily achieved utilizing four dog toggle mounting clamps integrated into each speaker baffle. The matte white finish blends cleanly into any neutral-colored ceiling, and may be painted for an inconspicuous appearance against any colored surface.
