ValueTronics International, Inc. RF Generator N5172B

Description
The N5172B is a 6 GHz RF Generator from Agilent. An RF generator is a tool engineers use to generate sinusoidal outputs while testing electronic equipment. The output will automatically have its frequency varied or swept between frequencies. A “sweep” is one complete cycle of a frequency variation. Engineers use RF signal generators as test equipment, mostly to measure responses of filters, amplifiers, and electrical components. Additional Features: 9 kHz to 3 or 6 GHz +21 dBm specified power to 3 GHz with electronic attenuator < 900-µs simultaneous switching of frequency, power, and waveform type ≤ -73 dBc ACP W-CDMA 64 DPCH and <0.4% EVM 80 MHz 802.11 AC AM, FM, øM, and narrow pulse 10 MHz multifunction generator and LF out Digital step and list sweep modes l/Q modulation: ASK, FSK, MSK, PSK, QAM, custom I/Q 120 MHz internal baseband generator (±0.2 dB flatness): arbitrary waveform and real-time I/Q 512 Msample playback memory and 30 GB internal or 8 GB external, removable memory Arbitrary and real-time signals: LTE, HSPA+, WLAN, GNSS, DVB, and more – Signal Creation Multi-channel baseband generation with Agilent HP N5102A digital I/O, MIMO, and RF fading with PXB 1000BaseT LAN, LXI, USB 2.0, and GPIB SCPI, IVI-COM, MATLAB drivers Backward compatible with ESG, MXG, PSG and 8648x signal generators Agilent HP USB power sensor compatible with embedded display and SCPI control Maximize yield with outstanding hardware performance Confidently test components with industry-leading ACPR, EVM, and output power Maximize throughput with fast switching speed Shrink your test stand with two rack-unit height Test a broad range of signals with the most sophisticated applications Support multiple technologies for cellular, wireless connectivity, video, and tracking/navigation applications with Signal Studio software Simulate real-world signals with real-time capabilities for LTE, GNSS, DVB, and more Increase uptime with high mean time between failures (MTBF) based on first-generation MXG track record Minimize downtime and expenses with self-maintenance strategy and low-cost repairs To help you achieve faster throughput and greater uptime, the Agilent N5172B EXG is optimized for manufacturing test with the signals you’ll need for basic parametric testing of components and functional verification of receivers.
