The new ME 1 diaphragm pump is a compact, high performance and easy-to-use vacuum pump that is well-suited to simple aspiration and filtration applications with less aggressive reagents. The small footprint and convenient top-mounted power switch make this a handy partner on the bench for day to day lab work. The PTFE diaphragm and valves are rugged and provide good chemical resistance. (See our ME 1C pump if working with less aggressive reagents.) An optional manual regulator valve with dial gauge enables variable fine adjustment of the pumping speed and ultimate vacuum. Vacuum to 100 mbar, and exceptionally long service intervals of 10,000 operating hours or more.
