Alloy 901 is a corrosion and heat resistant nickel-base alloy designed for gas tungsten arc and gas metal arc welding. Alloy 901 is used primarily for parts such as turbine rotors, shafts and buckets or blades requiring high strength up to 1400 degrees F (760 degrees C) and oxidation resistance up to 1600 degrees F (871 degrees C).
