Alloy 4043 is a 5% silicon aluminum alloy designed to weld many similar and dissimilar cast and wrought aluminum parts. This alloy is excellent for types 4043, 6063, 5052, 6061, 355, 356 and others. Extensively used with the gas tungsten arc and gas metal arc processes with argon shielding gas.
