Umicore Metal Deposition Solutions PLATINODE® Beakerglass Anodes PLATINODE® Beakerglass Anodes

Description
Anodes for plating in beakers Umicore anodes are available for beakers with volumes of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 5.0 litres. Special requests in view of dimensions and shape can be considered. The experience of Umicore Electroplating has shown that 90 per cent of all laboratory plating tests in the field of precious metals are carried out in standard beakers. Umicore offers the optimum anode solution for plating samples or small batches. Beakerglass anodes are either platinized or coated with mixed metal oxide (MMO). Selection of the coating as well as layer thickness and layer weight depend on the customer´s application. They have replaceable anode segments which are fixed to a holder and can be exchanged. Thus the holder can be used several times. Advantages Simplified handling Optimum anode surface Long lifetime Stability in the beaker Simple set-up No complicated wiring Replaceable anode segments Applications Laboratory plating tests in standard beakers (e. g. for plating samples or small batches)
