The MPUs twist-to-connect design features an easy-to-use locking mechanism that guards against accidental disconnects and provides a reliable, secure connection. A 3/4" hose barb provides smooth, rapid media transfer. Sharp barbed ends minimize fluid turbulence and dead space and the shrouded, leak-proof seal and smooth flow path protect valuable fluids and eliminate potential to contaminate fluid path. Rated for vacuum to 35 psi, 2.41 bar. Temperature from -40F to 300F (-40C to 149C). Main components are amber tinted polysulfone and clear platinum cured silicone. Polysulfone and silicone meet USP Class VI and ADCF requirements. Can be Gamma sterilized up to 50 kGy irradiation and autoclaved up to 270F (132C) for 60 minutes, up to 25 repetitions (sterilize uncoupled only).
