This rod has high impact strength, good machinability, and dimensional stability. It is low water absorbtion, with thermal properties from -40F to 270F. It is good for high voltage switches, electrical insulators and connectors, and replacement for metal components where wear and impact are important. It is translucent, not transparent and is UV resistant. Standard length 10', but is sold in 2' intervals.
