These high speed electrically heated welders have interchangeable welding tips and heat elements to match heat requirements. They have a stainless steel barrel and molded glass-filled nylon handle. The 12 ft air hose is rugged vinyl with internal 3-wire grounded electrical cable. The high quality plastic welding kits permit you to do your own fabrication and make your own alterations and repairs to tanks, trays, piping, ducts, vents, and linings. Use nitrogen gas to weld polyethylene and polypropylene; use compressed air for PVC, CPVC, and ABS. Approx 3-4 lbs air or gas pressure is needed as well as an in-line filter to filter out moisture. Do not weld thinner than 1/16in. This complete kit includes: high speed torch, combination tip (for welding and tacking), 2 heat elements (450 and 550 watt), combination gas regulator and filter, portable welding stand with heat shield and torch rest. Features a thermometer, rugged steel case and 64-page welding manual.
