Kontrol-Karrier Heavy Duty Below Hook Drum Carrier allows you to lift, move and pour a drum weighing up to 1500 lbs. or a half full drum up to 800 lbs. It is equipped with the MORcinch Drum Holder to handle a 55 gallon steel drum with 22" to 23.5" outside diameter between the ribs. To load the drum lifter, simply move the drum holder against the drum and cinch the chain. The standard drum tilt control is a chain wheel with 12 chain loop. Lift the drum and rotate drum 360 in either direction. Drums can be held at any tilt angle. The slots in the bottom of the frame can be used as a chain lock to prevent the drum from tilting. To do so, crisscross the chain and insert one side into each slot. This drum carrier complies with ANSI/ASME B30.20 standard for mechanical, below-the-hook lifting devices as it applies to the following: Rated load markings and unit identification. Minimum design safety factor of 3, based on yield strength, for load bearing structural components. Welding is performed by certified welders who have passed the ANSI/AWS D14.1 welding qualification test. All welding is in accordance with ANS?AWS D14.1 and ASME BTH-1.
