U.S. Plastic Corporation Hayward PVC True Union Ball Check Valves 18504

Description
Hayward true check ball check valves with FPM seals, NSF listed material and 150 PSI at 70 F., prevent reversal of flow in piping systems. They are ideal where backflow could potentially cause damage to pumps, filters, or process equipment. Line pressure unseats the solid plastic ball to open the valve. When inlet flow ceases, the back pressure seats the ball on a special square cut elastomer seat, thus stopping the back flow. Ideal for horizontal and vertical installation. Seats with minimum back pressure. Free floating ball never seats in the same position twice. Full port 4" check valve for greater flow with minimum pressure loss. Min. 2 PSI cracking pressure on all sizes.
