U.S. Plastic Corporation Swing Check Valve 18259

Description
This 3/4" swing check valve in the open position allows for unobstructed continuous flow with minimal head loss. Swing check valves are designed for horizontal installation. All check valves must be installed with the flow-arrow pointing in the direction of the flow of the system and with the flow arrow on the top side of the valve. Swing check valves must NOT be installed upside-down. The flow velocity should not exceed 5 ft./second. Thermoplastic design with stainless steel fasteners resists process and atmospheric corrosion. Valve can be disassembled for maintenance. Pressure rated up to 150 psi in full flow (open) position, and 75 psi in the closed position (non-shock water at 73 F). Gravity-based closure (no spring). PVC body, EPDM seal weighted with a PVC disc.
