Ball valves perform a quarter turn on/off or modulating function. A flow-controlling ball located within the body of the valve contains a hole through its center along one axis, which connects the inlet and outlet ports of the body. The ball itself is held in place by, and rotates 90 within, PTFE seats, Viton O-rings. Double O-ring seals on stem for an added protection. Full bore, sizes 1/2" 2". Full vacuum rated, all sizes. Blocks in two directions, upstream and downstream, leaving full pressure on the opposite end of the valve. Integrally molded ISO mounting pad for both manual and actuated operations. Integrally molded base pad to mount valves Securely or panel mounting. True Union design for easier installation or repairs without expanding the pipe system. Built-in spanner wrench on the handle for valve disassembly and assembly. NSF-61 Certified. Pressure Rating: 230 PSI @ 70F, 150 PSI@ 120F. Not FDA compliant. Two sets of end connectors (socket and threaded) included with all PVC valves. Threaded only end connectors included with the PVDF valves.
