Description
Sintimid™ T Polyamide-imide stock shapes maintain their mechanical and wear properties in high temperature environments up to 570 °F. Sintimid™ T bearing grade offers improved wear resistance and high PV capabilities at elevated temperatures. Unlike other polyamide-imides, Sintimid™ T requires no post-curing. Work with Sintimid™ T where close tolerance and high purity is required. Since post-curing is not required after making Sintimid™ T, costs associated with that process can be eliminated. Sintimid™ V Polymide stock shapes provide a superior combination of high temperature, bearing, wear, and mechanical properties, making it an ideal choice for the most demanding applications. Sintimid™ V is characterized by its long term thermal stability, outstanding wear resistance, high creep resistance, and strength, up to its continuous use temperature of 572 °F. Specialty grades containing internal lubricants such as PTFE and Graphite are available for applications requiring improved wear resistance and lower coefficients of friction.
