Thermal Wire and Cable LLC 538-24MGR-*

Description
MGR was developed after extensive research and development. With input from major appliance OEM's and their concern with itching and dermatitis associated with conventional MGT lead wires, Thermal Wire and Cable Corporation has developed MGR Cleanstrip Anti-itch anti-fray 538C appliance lead wire. Utilizing a proprietary saturant and process that bonds the glass fibers onto the outer braid, Thermal Wire type MGR lead wire has greatly diminished the fraying, itching and irritation associated with this type of product. Designed for high-speed automated cutting and stripping machines. The plug is easily removed after cutting with a minimal tension, and the stripped portion of the wire is clean and frayless. The standard conductor material is oxygen-free, high-conductivity, 27% nickel-coated copper. Grade A (Pure nickel) also available upon request. MGR lead wires are unaffected by flame, fuels, solvents most acids, alkalis and oils. MGR is intended for wiring of ovens or similar high-temperature equipment where not subjected to repeated flexing and protected from mechanical abuse, and where the acceptability, including current-carrying capacity, has been determined by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. MGR is available in colors. The standard color is tan. Optional stainless steel overbraid for added mechanical protection. For oil and moisture protection see type MTG with additional PTFE moisture barrier. Available in 26 AWG through 550 MCM. 300 Volt also available. *Please specify color : 0-black, 1-tan, 2-red, 3-orange, 4-yellow, 5-green, 6-blue, 7-purple, 8-gray, 9-white. Stripe color example : -100 tan base color with two black stripes. Intended Use : Internal wiring of appliances where not subjected to repeated flexing and protected from mechanical abuse. Note : 450C (842F) UL/CSA Certified. Conductor options : Standard conductor material is 27% nickel-plated copper. Solid or stranded Grade A Nickel (Nickel 200). Additional strands available for extreme flexing applications eg 12 168/34 etc. applications. Stainless Steel braid armor also available. Multi-conductor cables, shielded pairs etc.
