Thermal Wire and Cable LLC 538-10MGTSD3

Description
Thermal Wire and Cable's MGT Cleanstrip-SD lead wires utilize a modified glass reinforced mica tape dielectric system built to UL/CSA specifications. The proprietary reduced wall dielectric reduces the overall OD by 18% allowing this wire to be used in spaces that would restrict conventional MGT wires with larger diameters. Such as UL 5128. Standard conductor material is oxygen-free, high-conductivity, 27% nickel-plated copper. Grade A (pure nickel) is also available upon request. Unlike the mica glass tape constructions of typical MGT lead wires, Thermal Wire and Cable's MGT Cleanstrip-SD insulation system is applied with minimum tension which allows the insulation plug to cut and strip cleanly without binding automated cutting and stripping machines. In addition, the modified insulation system resists pushback, withstands mechanical abuse and offers dimensional consistency and uniformity. The overall glass braid is treated with a proprietary saturant that promotes fiber bonding. This proprietary saturant also reduces fraying, itching and Dermatitis associated with other conventional high temperature lead wires. MGT Cleanstrip-SD lead wires are UL Recognized Pass UL VW-1 Flame Test, are CSA Certified as Equipment Wire complying with the rules of Canadian Electrical Code Part 1. MGT Cleanstrip-SD is available in colors. CSA FT-1 Certified. Special surface prints available with your part number, company name, etc. The standard color is tan (natural). Multi-conductor shielded and unshielded versions available. For oil and moisture protection see type MTG with additional PTFE moisture barrier. 600 Volt also available. Larger sizes available to 1000 MCM. Please consult factory. Please specify color : 0-black, 1-brown, 2-red, 3-orange, 4-yellow, 5-green, 6-blue, 7-purple, 8-gray, 9-white. 54 - Green with yellow stripe. Standard color is tan (natural). Note : 450C UL/CSA Certified 24 - 4 AWG. Conductor options : Solid or stranded Grade A Nickel (Nickel 200). Standard conductor is 27% nickel-coated copper. Intended Use : Wiring of ovens or similar high-temperature equipment where not subjected to repeated flexing and protected from mechanical abuse, and where the acceptability, including current-carrying capacity has been determined by UL.
