Thermal Wire and Cable's TGGT lead wires utilize a system of several high-temperature insulating materials fused together to provide a robust, industrial strength, high-temperature single-conductor lead wire. These materials include a fused PTFE Teflon tape dielectric system, an additional served glass thermal barrier, and a treated glass braid overall for mechanical protection. Typical applications include : extrusion machines, heater bands, appliance and fixtures, etc. The entire system is built to UL/CSA specifications. The glass braid is treated with a special saturant which promotes fiber bonding which ultimately reduces fraying and itching associated with other conventional high temperature wires. Thermal Wire and Cable's TGGT lead wires are unaffected by flame, fuels, solvents most acids, alkalis and oils and pass IEEE-383 70,000 BTU/HR Flame Test. TGGT is available in colors. Special surface prints available with your part number, company name, etc. The standard conductor material is nickel-coated copper. Available in 30 AWG through 750 MCM. UL Recognized and CSA certified. Standard color is tan. Please specify color : 0-black, 1-tan, 2-red, 3-orange, 4-yellow, 5-green, 6-blue, 7-purple, 8-gray, 9-white. For green base color with yellow stripe - 54. Intended Use : Internal Wiring of appliances or electronic equipment. Conductor Options : Standard conductor material is nickel plated copper.
