Thermal Wire and Cable's cross-linked polyethylene insulated single conductor wire has a tough abrasion resistant insulation with excellent electrical properties and thermal aging characteristics. Suitable for use as Appliance Wiring Material (AWM), coil leads and as Class B IEEE 130C Class Motor Leads, lighting ballast's and commercial cooking equipment. Economical replacement for silicone rubber/glass braid insulated wire and cable. Eliminates the dermatitis and associated itching, irritation and fraying of glass braid insulated wire. Upon request, 18, 16 and 14 AWG meets NEC Type XF (Cross-Linked Fixture 7 strand) or XFF (Cross-Linked Fixture Flexible), fixture wiring. Suitable for use where immersed in gasoline up to 30C. Its flexible nature and small diameter profile provides for easy, economical installations. Hashmarks, dots or striping also available. Tinned copper conductor is standard. Available in 30 AWG - 4/O. Available in multi-conductor cables and shielded pairs. *Specify Color : 1-tan, 2-red, 3-orange, 4-yellow, 5-green, 6-blue, 7-purple, 8-gray, 9-white.
