Thermal Wire and Cable's insulated high voltage lead wire offers a wide service temperature range and outstanding dielectric qualities. The extreme resistance of silicone rubber insulated wire and cable to high voltage ionization permits operation of silicone rubber insulated wire and cable at high voltage and temperature levels without failing. Silicone rubber is very resistant to high and low temperature extremes.
Silicone rubber retains its properties after service at -150F to +392F. As a primary insulation Silicone rubber couples superior dielectric properties, heat resistance and durability. Being a thermoset insulation, it does not melt or shrink back when hit with a soldering gun like PFA or FEP insulations can do. Passes UL VW-1 Verticle Wire Flame Test. Ozone and corona resistant. Available in fully pigmented insulations for positive circuit identification.
Standard conductor material is tin-coated copper, however, nickel-coated copper and silver-coated copper are available as an option. Cable is available with optional impregnated glass braid or stainless steel for additional mechanical protection. Available to 4/0 please inquire.
Please specify color : 0-black, 1-tan, 2-red, 3-orange, 4-yellow, 5-green, 6-blue, 7-purple, 8-gray, 9-white. Stripe color example : -100 tan base color with two black stripes.
Intended Use :Internal wiring of TV receivers where the acceptability has been determined by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
