The TPD13S523 is a 13-channel ESD protection solution designed specifically for HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 1.3 interfaces. It features integrated TVS diodes that provide IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 contact ESD protection, capable of withstanding ¬±12 kV contact discharge on external lines. The device includes an on-chip 5V load switch with current limit and reverse current protection, ensuring safe operation and preventing damage from accidental shorts. It supports data rates exceeding 3.4 Gbps while maintaining low differential capacitance of less than 0.05 pF between TMDS signal pairs, which helps preserve signal integrity.
