The TLV320AIC15CDBTR is a low-power, highly integrated, programmable 16-bit mono codec designed for voice-band applications. It features a single 16-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) channel and a single 16-bit digital-to-analog (D/A) channel, utilizing oversampling sigma-delta technology. The device supports a maximum sampling rate of 26 kSPS with on-chip IIR/FIR filtering, achieving a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 84 dB for the ADC and 92 dB for the DAC. This codec operates with a power supply range of 2.7V to 3.6V and consumes only 11.2 mW in standard operation, making it suitable for portable applications. It includes features such as programmable gain amplifiers, microphone and headset amplifiers, and selectable low-pass filters. The TLV320AIC15CDBTR supports a smart time division multiplexed (SMARTDM,Ñ¢) serial port for easy interfacing with TI DSPs and microcontrollers, allowing for glueless cascading of up to 16 devices. The device is characterized for commercial operation from 0¬8C to 70¬8C and industrial operation from -40¬8C to 85¬8C, making it versatile for various environmental conditions.
