The SN74HC163NE4 is a 4-bit synchronous binary counter from Texas Instruments, designed for high-speed counting applications. The device supports synchronous counting, allowing all flip-flops to be clocked simultaneously, which eliminates output counting spikes typical of ripple-clock counters.
