The MSP430F67671AIPEU is a polyphase metering system-on-chip designed for three-phase electronic watt-hour metering and utility metering applications. It is housed in a 128-pin LQFP (PEU) package measuring 20mm × 14mm. The device features seven independent 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs for high-accuracy current and voltage measurement, a 25-MHz 32-bit multiplier CPU, up to 256KB of Flash memory, and 32KB of RAM. It supports LCD drivers for up to 320 segments, a password-protected real-time clock with tamper detection, and multiple communication interfaces including four eUSCI_A and two eUSCI_B modules. The device meets ANSI C12.20 and IEC 62053 accuracy standards, operates over a 40Hz to 70Hz line frequency range with single calibration, and includes power management modes with standby current as low as 0.34 µA in RTC mode (LPM3.5). It supports three-phase four-wire star connections and is qualified for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
