The MSP430F6749AIPEU is a polyphase metering system-on-chip featuring seven independent 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs, a 25-MHz 32-bit multiplier CPU, 512 KB of flash memory, and 32 KB of RAM. It supports three-phase energy measurement with accuracy better than 0.1% over a 2000:1 dynamic range and meets ANSI C12.20 and IEC 62053 standards. The device includes an LCD controller for up to 320 segments, a password-protected RTC with tamper detection, an integrated AES-128 encryption module, and six enhanced universal serial communication interfaces. It is packaged in a 128-pin LQFP with a body size of 20 mm × 14 mm and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
